Organic Farm Weekend

My good friend and I spent the weekend at an organic farm, did some manual labor and a lot of gabbing, singing, goofing, laughing.  And we also transplanted about a hundred tiny basil seedlings.  Such a delicate operation separating the delicate roots from the others and placing them in their new expansive homes.  I felt godlike in my responsibility for them.  I had to do right by them, each little one.
